Academic aspects – contact with supervisors, help in choosing the right course(s) and in preparing/changing the study/research plan. Visa – contact with embassies, consulates. Accommodation – assistance in booking of a room for all grantees. At arrival - Pick up, support in administrative formalities. Welcome events organised. During the mobility period, the international team organizes meetings for all EM grantees as well as cultural and integration activities.
The international office of ECN assists grantees for the booking of accomodation.
The department of languages provides French courses for international students.
Cost of Living : Accommodation: 400 EUR; Meals: between 150 EUR and 200 EUR; Transports: 34.00 EUR (for a Tan monthly pass) - Climate : Nantes has a Western European oceanic climate, with frequent rainfalls all year round and cool temperatures. Fall and winter days are generally rainy with cold temperatures often falling below zero and moderate snowfalls in the coldest months. Spring and summer days are sunny to cloudy with mild temperatures and occasional summer hot spells especially during the month of July.
Disabled students should inform the International Office in advance, so that provision is taken regarding their accommodation.
