Information on the cost of living, climate and cultural events

"Cost of living is generally very low with food costs approximately US$2 per day and dormitory charges are nominal. Guwahati generally has a pleasant, temperate climate but can get hot in the months of July-August and cold in the months of December-January.
Guwahati has several famous national parks and world heritage sites nearby, within easy driving distance. It is also a good place to base oneself to explore the scenic and cultural beauty of the neighboring states.

Support to disabled people

Some support is available for disabled people (i.e. wheelchair bound). We are trying our best to make the campus disabled-friendly.

Monitoring Activities

Academic monitoring will be done through regular assignments, quizzes and exams.

Integration events organized by the University

International students are invited to meet the Director and the Deans once a semester. Student bodies are encouraged to help international students participate in sports activities and cultural activities, including the cultural and techno-cultural festivals organized on campus.
